Hello, I am Babette

Updated: Nov 16, 2017

Hello, welcome to Blooming Cakes. I am Babette Yu.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Performance and Sociology from the University of Sydney. After four years of academic study, I realised I am more creative with handcraft, a gift I believe I inherited from my parents. I have a strong passion to make my life and others around me a little bit sweeter.

In 2007, I moved to Sydney from Shanghai, China. While studying, I worked for Barista Basics Coffee Academy as a barista trainer. Thanks to this great company and the people I worked for, I have experienced making food and drinks with art.

From 2012 to 2013, I lived in Paris for a few months with the purpose of learning world leading patisserie secrets. Successfully completing the Patisserie Diploma from Le Cordon Bleu Paris broadened my mindset and provided further desire to continue my journey.

Mid 2017, I attended a cake decoration advanced program in South Korea. Upon my return to Sydney, I focused on my own business, Blooming Cakes. I feel it's the perfect time for me to combine all my experience and knowledge to share and connect with you.

What a genuinely heartwarming introduction, Babette! Your story is such a beautiful reminder that our "planned" paths rarely look anything like where we actually end up — and that's often the best part. You studied Performance and Sociology, yet found your truest calling through handcraft and patisserie — there's something so poetic about that. It reminds me of conversations I've had with HR specialists at New Assignment Help, who often point out that the most fulfilled professionals are those who eventually align their work with their deepest strengths, not just their degrees. Your journey from Shanghai to Sydney, then Paris and Seoul, shows incredible courage and curiosity. The way you describe wanting to make life "a little bit sweeter" for…

What a beautiful and inspiring story, Babette! Moving from Shanghai to Sydney, training in Paris at Le Cordon Bleu, and then refining your skills in South Korea — your journey is a true testament to the power of following your passion across borders and cultures. It's funny how life leads us somewhere unexpected; I studied business and spent countless late nights working through complex modules, even turning to Business Assignment Help UK at one point just to keep up with the workload, but looking back, those challenging years shaped how I think and approach problems today — much like how your academic background in Performance and Sociology seems to have quietly influenced the artistry and storytelling behind every cake you…

Welcome, Babette! It's fantastic to see someone with such a clear passion for their craft. Your focus on creating beautiful, precise work that meets a specific standard really resonates. It's similar in academic research, where the goal is to prepare a study to meet the rigorous standards of a high-quality publication. The principle behind a Scopus journal publication service is just that ensuring research is meticulously prepared and navigates the specific requirements of prestigious databases, allowing its true value and impact to be recognized by the academic community.
