Deposit and Payment for cake ordering.


For all the cakes between 6-10 inches and cupcakes, full payment is required to comfirm your order. For any large cakes more than 10 inches or event Sweet Table, a deposit is required to confirm and secure your order. Deposits will be between 20% – 50% depending on the order. No order will be commenced until a deposit has been received. The balance is to be paid a minimum of 7 days prior to delivery or collection of your cake.




Can I cancel the order and get a refund?


If you cancel your order within 14 days to the delivery or collection date, we cannot refund your deposit or issue any credit. However, you can request to change your pick up or delivery date. The change must be made 48 hours prior to the original pick up date.




Can I change the pick up or delivery date?


Yes, you can. But this change must made 48 hrs before the orginal pick up date.




How can I order a customised cake?


The best way is email or call Babette to check the avalibility first. Sending Babette an email of all your information such as the date you need the cake; the number of people in the party. Babette will design your cake according to the information and photos you provide. So please send Babette an email with your full information. Of course, Babette also will reply your email to give her idea for the final confirmation.




Can I visit your shop?


Blooming Cakes is a home based kitchen at the moment. However, we are preparing to open a street shop on 2018.




How can I find the right design for my cakes?


We are updating every cake we make. Customers can browse our gallery on our Instragram page: bloomingcakes_syd




Free delivery?


Currently we are providing free delivery to orders made from Rhodes NSW. If you are ordering from another area, please organise your pick-up.




What if the cake gets damaged after leaving your shop?


We box our cakes with durable packaging for you to travel. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any breakages or damages to your order after it has left our store. All cakes should be stored in a chill place.




Can I change my design after confirmation?


Yes, you can discuss with Babette. However, all the changes must made 48hrs before the orginal pick up date.

Privacy Policy & Security?


The protection and privacy of your personal information is a priority to us for both cake ordering and cake decoration workshops. We will not pass any of your infromtion to any third partys.




How long advanced I can book my workshops?


We open our workshop dates 3 months in advance.




Do I need to pay GST?


Blooming Cakes is not a GST register. All products, workshops and services will not be charged GST.




Can I pay the workshop on the day?


This is a prepaid class. Full payment is required to be made via online or call us to book over the phone before the class.




Workshops Cancellation and Rebook Policy


Unfortunately, we cannot refund once payment has been made. However, you may reschedule the class with 24 hours prior notice. For anyone that cannot attend the workshop without 24hrs prior notice, there will be $50 rebooking fee. Otherwise, you will lose your booking with us. As we have to bake and prepare all your fresh ingredients for you, we do expect everyone to show up to the class. For any private class and school visiting program, we do take 30 - 50% non-refundble deposite to comfirme the booking. The remaining balance need to be paid on the day of private class or within 14 days for school visitng prgram.
